People make Places, Places make People, Places Matter!

We are Places Matter! an organisation devoted to generating a strong sense of place in living, working and learning environments throughout the Northwest.

Why? Because great places give people the feel good factor, drive economic activity and make the Northwest a better place.

We’re passionate about towns, cities, parks, streets, squares, and any building large or small. We can help clients and developers commission better design and make better decisions through our Places Matter! programme.

We’re members of the Architecture Centre Network and work with CABE and English Heritage. We also work alongside RIBA North West and NWDA so you could say we’ve got friends in all the right places.
