Successful Urban Design deploys a number of tools for a variety of people involved in shaping individual places whether as clients, designers, funders or users.
The Places Matter! Supermarket Forum took place on the 23 March. The invited audience comprised developers, agents, local authority officers and members of the Places Matter! Design Review Panel.
Places Matter! is working in partnership with Arts Council England, North West (ACE) to research the combined impact of ACE and other partners investment into the public realm over the last 5 years throughout the region.
In 2009 with support from the Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment (CABE), Places Matter! offered accredited training in Building for Life for representatives from every local authority in the Northwest.
