North West Pan-professional CPD Programme - Sustainable Development: What It Means for Places and Place Making
Thursday 12 November 2009, 10am - 4pm Foresight Centre, Liverpool
Delivering sustainable development is a fundamental task for planners, architects and associated professions who are involved in place making and management. The challenge is to deliver sustainable development in all its dimensions - economic, social and environment - and in all situations - regeneration, renewal and growth areas. This event brings together a number of the key themes and aspects of sustainable development and sustainable communities theory and practice. It provides the context for policy and practice, presents the major challenges, and offers in depth insights into a selection of applications. The event does offer an opportunity for discussion and for delegates to contribute from their experience.
Tickets are allocated on a ‘first come first served’ basis, so please compelete the booking form and return along with payment as soon as possible to book your place(s) at the event.
